But Fern, in his mistake, stole the necklace to quell

The beast awoke with a fierce roar,

Attacking all but Iona and Duncan to the core,

Duncan saw no choice but to lead him out,

But it was a trap, of that there was no doubt

Twelve guardsmen waited for them to appear,

Duncan attacked, and Kenrick had no fear,

Now the two were trapped in a battle intense,

As the party inside planned their defense
