THE VOIDCHILD| MAINFRAME #0

Kira was a hippie with mysterious abilities who enjoyed discussing literature, particularly Jack Kerouac, and sharing joints with the band members. When Torin and Keys arrived at the campsite, Torin delivered the obsidian katana to Kira, who immediately recognized it as belonging to her father Satoshi, described as a grumpy Japanese man. As they sat in her tent sharing a joint and discussing books, Kira took hold of the sword, which suddenly activated in response to her touch.

The sword's activation triggered a dramatic teleportation event that transported Torin and Kira to an empty Roman Coliseum. Five void creatures materialized around them - two flanking the party and three positioned in the upper levels of the arena. These creatures appeared as shadow-like beings composed of purple and black vapor that could take solid form, with the ability to phase through physical matter and form claws when attacking.

A fierce battle ensued against the void creatures in the ancient arena. Torin attempted to use an acoustic guitar as a weapon, but the creatures didn't perceive it as a threat and continued their advance. He then summoned a storm overhead and directed lightning strikes at the creatures, successfully dissipating one completely. However, another void creature phased through him, causing his veins to turn purple and creating a mystical connection that made him feel strange and weakened.

Kira shifted into her void form and used her powers to slow down time while attacking with the void sword. She successfully created a time dilation effect that benefited both fighters and managed to banish one of the creatures back to the void dimension. The remaining creatures teleported closer as a consequence of their attacks, but Torin continued his lightning assault, destroying another creature with a well-placed strike.

In a desperate move, Torin attempted to channel lightning through the acoustic guitar to create a more powerful attack, but the instrument couldn't handle the electrical energy and exploded into wood shards. The final void creature managed to claw him, causing mystical damage that didn't leave physical wounds but could be felt nonetheless. Kira finished the battle by banishing the last creature back to the void, ending the supernatural encounter.

After the combat ended, Director Locke contacted them via earpiece to check on their status. Torin reported the events and requested a replacement guitar, while Locke revealed that she had known about Kira Nakamura and her family ties but had been unaware of her specific abilities until this incident. She explained that even Sphinx's precognitive vision had been limited regarding Kira's powers, creating a void in his foresight that now made sense. Kira demonstrated her teleportation abilities by transporting herself and Torin directly back to Director Locke's office.
